Abstract
ABSTRAK Kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) merupakan tanaman komoditas perkebunan yang memiliki peran penting terhadap perekonomian Indonesia, mengingat Indonesia menjadi negara eksportir kakao ketiga di dunia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kekerabatan antar aksesi hibrida dan tetua tanaman kakao yang dikembangkan oleh BALITTRI berdasarkan karakter morfologi. Tanaman kakao yang digunakan untuk penelitian sebanyak 45 aksesi yang terdiri dari 21 aksesi hibrida Sul 1 >< Sul 2, 21 aksesi Sul 1 >< Sca 6, dan masing-masing satu aksesi tetua Sul 1, Sul 2, dan Sca 6. Pengamatan morfologi meliputi karakter kualitatif dan kuantitatif morfologi pohon, daun, bunga, dan buah. Data hasil pengamatan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan software SPSS versi 22 untuk melihat tingkat kekerabatan antara hibrida dan tetuanya serta keragaman fenotifnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat keragaman morfologi kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hubungan kekerabatan pada nilai dissimiliaritas 25 % membagi 45 aksesi kedalam dua kelompok utama, dimana terjadi pemisahan kelompok antara tetua Sul 2 dengan aksesi hibrida maupun dengan aksesi tetua lainnya. Kata kunci : Kakao (Theobroma cacao L.), hubungan kekerabatan, hibrida. ABSTRACT Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) is a crop commodities that have important role in the Indonesian economy, considering that Indonesia is the third in the world cocoa exporter. The purpose of this study was to determine the degree of kinship between accession and elders hybrid cocoa plant developed by BALITTRI based on morphological characters. Cocoa plants used for research as much as 45 accessions consisting of 21 accessions hybrids Sul 1> <Sul 2, 21 accessions Sul 1> <Sca 6, and each of the accession elders Sul 1, Sul 2, and Sca 6. Observation of morphology includes qualitative and quantitative morphological characters of trees, leaves, flowers, and fruit. The data were then analyzed using a software SPSS version 22 to see the degree of kinship between the hybrid and the parent as well as the diversity fenotifnya. The results showed there is a qualitative and quantitative morphological diversity. Kinship in value of 25% dissimiliaritas 45 accession divide into two main groups, where there is a separation between the group of elders Sul 2 with accession hybrids and with the accession of other elders.
