ABSTRACT The rapid development of technology makes it easier for humans to overcome various problems, in making decisions or even forecasting what will happen in the future with references to valid and previously existing data. Forecasting is data in the past that is used for estimating future data. The forecasting process is used to help achieve an optimal, systematic and accountable decision. Forecasting becomes a method and tool by management that is an integral part of the decision-making process. Forecasting has a direct role on external events that are usually beyond management control such as Economy, Customers, Competitors, Government, Psychology and so on. The development that will be carried out is expert system for diagnosing the level of social media addiction in adolescents using Forward Chaining.
