Abstract

ABSTRACT Nuraeni. 037116132. This research aim to improve learning dicipline on mathematics learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research with the type of causal research. The population in this study were 90 students in class IV of Sukadamai 2 Elementary School, Bogor City. This research was conducted in the odd semester of 2020/2021. The analysis prerequisite testing technique is in the form of the Liliefors normality test, then the homogeneity test is carried out with the Fisher test to show the population is homogeneous. Data that were declared normal and homogeneous were used to test the hypothesis, the results showed learning discipline had an effect on student learning outcomes mathematics. Simple regression and correlation analysis techniques produce a relationship model which is expressed in the form of a regression equation, namely Ŷ = 36.8 + 0.39 X. The results of this study were indicated by statistical analysis which resulted in a correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.43. While the coefficient of determination was 18.49%. Regression analysis techniques and simple correlation of learning discipline with student learning outcomes mathematics have an produce an effect which is expressed in the form of a regression equation, namely Ŷ = 36.8 + 0.39 X, which means that each increase in learning discipline units causes an increase student learning outcomes mathematics by 0.39 units. Based on the results of the above research, it can be concluded that there is an effect of learning discipline on student learning outcomes mathematics in fourth grade students of Sukadamai 2 State Elementary School, Bogor City, Odd semester of the 2020/2021 school year.
