Abstract

The development of technology information brings some impacts for human’s life. The concept or method of teaching and learning process changed from classical learning to several methods. One of the methods that can be applied is e-learning. E-learning is the technology that can facilitate the students in the learning process. Therefore, this research focuses on students' perception and expectation in learning English structure through e-learning in third-semester class D of English Language Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences Pakuan University. The data were collected from documentation, questionnaire, and interview. The result of the data shows that students and lecturer have the same perception and expectation of learning and teaching English Structure subject through e-learning. students' felt that learning through e-learning was fun and interesting, but that they were lacking interactions with their friends and the lecturer, thus they could not share if they got some difficulties. furthermore, both students and lecturer experience that it needs to have one-day training before they get involvement in the implementation of e-learning system.
