Abstract

Morphological and Anatomical Characteristics of Putative Numbers of Citronella (Cymbopogon nardus L.) (9pt) e-mail : delliawidodo82@gmail.com - - ABSTRAK The purpose of this study was to analyze the diversity of morphological and anatomical characteristics of putative mutant numbers of citronella. The design used in this study is qualitative and quantitative with a completely randomized design (CRD) of 10 plant genotypes with 4 replications. This study shows that the qualitative characteristics of morphology do not show diversity in the putative mutant numbers of citronella, namely in the shape of the leaf, and the base of the leaf, where the shape of the leaf is linear and the base of the leaf is blunt (obtusus). However, there is diversity in leaf tip, leaf margin, leaf surface, leaf color, and stem color. There are significant differences in several quantitative characters on the morphological characters of plant height, stem diameter, and number of tillers. Keywords: Citronella, anatomy, morphology
