It is the most important skill in getting information in order not to misunderstand about it. That is why the reading skill becomes very essential since it may give comprehensive information the educated field. For that reason, finger puppet is chosen as the media. The aim of the research is to find out whether finger puppet media affects students? reading comprehension. It is conducted to the second grade students of MTs SirojulAthfal. In this research, Pre Experimental method and Pretest Posttest Group design are used. There are 27 students from class VIII A taken as the sample by using random sampling. The data were taken from pretest and posttest which were analyzed by using t-test formula. The t-test value is 24.87 with the degree of freedom (df) is 26. Meanwhile, t-table value significant level of 0.05 is 2.05. In this case, the t-test value is higher than t-table (24.87{\ensuremath{>}}2.05). Thus, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, finger puppet media affects students? reading comprehension.
