abstract: Skripsi ini menganalisis tentang representasi remaja homoseksual kajian tokoh sentral. Metode analisis penelitian ini adalah kajian representasi dalam novel We Contain Multitudes. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa seksualitas homoseksual selalu direpresentasikan sebagai sesuatu yang tabu dan melanggar norma masyarakat, sehingga tidak jarang kaum homoseksual mendapatkan kekerasan dari masyarakat sekitarnya baik verbal maupun kekerasan fisik. Kondisi ini menunjukan bahwa kaum homoseksual selalu berada pada pihak yang termarjinalkan dan tertindas.
