Therefore, the students are not only listening but also understanding the message. The difficulty of listening comprehension is students do not understand what they have listened to. Applying the dictogloss technique is the solution to solve this problem. The aim of this research is to investigate the use of the Dictogloss technique on students’ listening comprehension of narrative text. In conducting this research, the researcher used a quantitative approach. The method and design applied the pre-experimental method and one group pretest-posttest design. This research is conducted in the tenth-grade students of MA ASH-SHOHEH Citeureup Bogor. There were 26 students as the sample of this research by using random sampling. The result shows that based on t-table, the degree of freedom 25 at a significant level of 0.05 is 2.06. However, the value of the t-test is 12.7 from the comparison between the value of the t-test and the t-table. It can be concluded that the value of the t-test is higher than the t-table (12.7>2.06). Thus, the alternative hypothesis of this research (Ha) is accepted. Dictogloss technique affects students' listening comprehension.
