"Listening comprehension is an interactive process in which listeners are \r\ninvolved in constructing meaning. Therefore, the students are not only listening but \r\nalso understanding the message. The difficulty of listening comprehension is \r\nstudents do not understand what they have listened to. Applying the dictogloss \r\ntechnique is the solution to solve this problem. The aim of this research is to \r\ninvestigate the use of the Dictogloss technique on students’ listening \r\ncomprehension of narrative text. In conducting this research, the researcher used a \r\nquantitative approach. The method and design applied the pre-experimental method \r\nand one group pretest-posttest design. This research is conducted in the tenth-grade \r\nstudents of MA ASH-SHOHEH Citeureup Bogor. There were 26 students as the \r\nsample of this research by using random sampling. The result shows that based on \r\nt-table, the degree of freedom 25 at a significant level of 0.05 is 2.06. However, the \r\nvalue of the t-test is 12.7 from the comparison between the value of the t-test and \r\nthe t-table. It can be concluded that the value of the t-test is higher than the t-table \r\n(12.7>2.06). Thus, the alternative hypothesis of this research (Ha) is accepted. \r\nDictogloss technique affects students' listening comprehension.\r\nKeywords: Dictogloss technique, Listening Comprehension, Narrative text"^^ .
