Translators must have their own strategy in \r\ntranslating a kind of text. There are many strategies in translating a text, for \r\nexample in translating a narrative text. Narrative is a type of text that has a \r\npurpose to entertain the reader. This research aims to find out the strategies \r\nused by the translators in translating a narrative text from Indonesian into \r\nEnglish. This research was conducted at PT Sanhsiro Harapan Makmur. \r\nDescriptive method was used to this research, and the data were taken from \r\ndocument, interview with the translators, and interview with the reviewer. \r\nThere were two translators and one reviewer who participated in this research. \r\nThe result shows that there are five strategies used by the translators in \r\ntranslating the narrative text.
