Qualitative Descriptive method is used to conduct this research. The writer conducted this research in Critical Reading subject in Class A/2019, English Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences, Pakuan University. The instruments used in this research are observation, documentation and interview. Further, the result of this research shows that an English instructor applied contextual reading through internet in the class. The English instructor sends the link of reading material to the students. The students and the English instructor claim that Contextual reading through internet can improve the students’critical thinking. The writer finds the students enjoy and having fun with the activities in the class by internet. Keyword: contextual reading, internet, students’ critical thinking
