The subject of the research is the eighth grade students of SMP PGRI 7 Bogor. The research is conducted in two cycle processes. In the first cycle, the students are motivated to write descriptive text based on the problem. The result of students’ score in the first test shows that there are 13 students (33%) belong to fair criteria, 17 students (44%) belong to good criteria and nine students (23%) belong to very good criteria. The students’ writing average (72,2). However, there are some students who do not reach the standard score (73). It happens because those students still have difficulties in using proper vocabulary. Therefore, the action should be continued to the next cycle. The teaching and learning process in the second cycle is better than in the first cycle. The result of the second cycle, 14 students (36%) belong to good criteria, 25 students (64%) belong to very good criteria. The students’ writing average increases into 80,6.
