At first glance this species is very similar to E. oxypetalum, but the size of the flowers and leaves is on average only half of the flowers of E. oxypetalum. An average flower diameter of 10cm. This flower is worth collecting because this species is the easiest and most diligent in flowering among other Epiphyllum species. The use of broken bricks as a planting medium for wijaya kusuma is done with the aim of regulating drainage and air circulation in pots. The air cavity created by the irregular arrangement of broken bricks will give root freedom to grow and develop freely in all directions. The existing cavity is also used as an entry point for oxygen needed by Wijaya Kusuma roots for the respiratory process.
