ABSTRACT This research discusses a Safe Distance Visibility Detector device on LCD Televisions using the Fuzzy Logic method, aimed at minimizing the decline in eye accommodation (distance correction) and coordination between eyes. Based on the test results, this device indicates safe television viewing conditions if the user's viewing distance is far and the viewing time is short. Caution is advised if the user's viewing distance is normal and the viewing time is normal, the user's viewing distance is far and the viewing time is normal, and if the user's viewing distance is normal and the viewing time is short. Unsafe conditions include the user's viewing distance being close and the viewing time being long, the user's viewing distance being close and the viewing time being normal, the user's viewing distance being close and the viewing time being short, the user's viewing distance being normal and the viewing time being long, the user's viewing distance being close and the viewing time being long, and if the user's viewing distance is far and the viewing time is long.
