Its main use as an ornamental plant outweighs its use as a potential medicine. Red shoots have been shown to contain various secondary metabolite compounds, one of which is phenolic compounds and has antioxidant potential. This study aims to determine the levels of phenolic compounds, the best type of solvent and antioxidant activity in red shoots leaf extract based on the type of solvent and extraction method. Phenolic levels and antioxidant activity were determined using a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. The results of this study indicate that the total phenolic content in the pucuk merah leaf extract using the UAE method in 96\% ethanol solvent, ethyl acetate and n-Hexane obtained were 17.6381, 10.1349, and 0.9219\%, while the reflux method obtained 16.6246, 8.3334, and 0.8305\%. Then the antioxidant activity in the UAE method in 96\% ethanol solvent, ethyl acetate and n-Hexane obtained IC50 values of 16.0259, 66.9439, and 152.6841 ppm, while the reflux method obtained 24.7693, 76.1721, and 162.6266 ppm. The total phenolic content and antioxidant activity of pucuk merah leaf extract using 96\% ethanol solvent with the UAE method were the highest, namely 17.6381\% and IC50 16.0261 ppm. ABSTRAK Penentuan Kadar Fenolik Total dan Aktivitas Antioksidan Daun Pucuk Merah (Syzygium myrtifolium Walp.) Berdasarkan Jenis Pelarut dan Metode Ekstraksi Tanaman pucuk merah dikenal sebagai tanaman hias untuk dekorasi rumah dan taman. Pemanfaatan utamanya sebagai tanaman hias mengungguli penggunaannya sebagai potensi obat. Daun pucuk merah telah terbukti mengandung beragam senyawa metabolit sekunder, salah satunya yaitu senyawa fenolik dan berpotensi antioksidan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kadar senyawa fenolik, jenis pelarut terbaik serta aktivitas antioksidan pada ekstrak daun pucuk merah berdasarkan jenis pelarut dan metode ekstraksi. Kadar fenolik dan aktivitas antioksidan ditentukan dengan alat Spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kadar fenolik total pada ekstrak daun pucuk merah menggunakan metode UAE pada pelarut etanol 96\%, etil asetat dan n-Heksan diperoleh yaitu 17,6381, 10,1349, dan 0,9219\%,sedangkan pada metode refluks didapatkan 16,6246, 8,3334, dan 0,8305\%. Kemudian aktivitas antioksidan pada metode UAE pada pelarut etanol 96\%, etil asetat dan n-Heksan mendapatkan nilai IC50 sebesar 16,0259, 66,9439, dan 152,6841 ppm, sedangkan metode refluks diperoleh 24,7693, 76,1721, dan 162,6266 ppm. Kadar fenolik total dan aktivitas antioksidan pada ekstrak daun pucuk merah menggunakan pelarut etanol 96\% dengan metode UAE paling tinggi yaitu 17,6381\% dan IC50 16,0261 ppm.
