Pre-experimental method and one group pretest\r\nposttest design is chosen as the research method. The population of the research is\r\n8th-C grade and the total sample was 35 students of 8th-C grade of SMPN 10 Bogor.\r\nIn conducting this research the writer applies pre-experimental method and chooses\r\none groups pre-test and post-test design. She gives pre-test, four treatments and\r\npost-test to the students. Team quiz is given to measure students’ speaking skill.\r\nThe data are analyzed by using t-test formula. From the calculation, the writer finds\r\nthe result of t-test value is 7.38 meanwhile the t-table value is 2.04 at significant\r\nlevel 0,05 with the degree of freedom (df) is 34. It is found that the t-calculation is\r\nhigher than t table (7.38>2.04). It means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected,\r\nand Ha is accepted.
