"Learning media is very important to improve the effectiveness of learning,\r\nespecially in improving students' writing skills. In this study, the researcher\r\ndeveloped a new digital-based learning media innovation that uses comic strips as\r\na tool to improve students' ability to write narrative texts. This learning media is\r\ndesigned to make learning interesting and interactive by integrating visual and\r\nnarrative elements. The research method used is RnD (Research and\r\nDevelopment) by applying the ADDIE research design. The ADDIE RnD stage\r\nbegins with the Analysis Stage, where researchers conduct observations and\r\ninterviews to understand the learning conditions at school and the narrative text\r\nmaterial. The second stage is the Design Stage, where researchers designed digital\r\ncomic strips using Canva and Bing Microsoft, based on their findings, to improve\r\nstudents' writing skills. The third stage is the Development Stage, where the comic\r\nstrips are created and validated by experts, then revised for effectiveness. The\r\nfourth stage is the Implementation Stage, where the validated comic strips were\r\nused in the classroom, and their effectiveness was measured through\r\nquestionnaires. The final stage is the Evaluation Stage, where pretests and\r\nposttests measure the impact of comics on writing skills, with feedback\r\ndetermining success and potential for wider use. To find out the students' response\r\nto this innovation, the RnD research method uses several test instruments, namely\r\nqualitative in the form of a questionnaire and quantitative in the form of a pretestposttest. The researcher observed how students' needs in terms of learning media\r\nrelated to narrative text writing skills, then developed learning media in the form\r\nof digital comic strips and implemented them into learning. The results showed\r\nthat the use of comic strips in learning received positive responses from students\r\nfor several indicators, in terms of media, content, and language. The researcher\r\nconducted an evaluation with a limited test, namely pre-experimental with one\r\ngroup pretest and posttest design to determine the n-gain value. The result of this\r\nis that the product can be developed and implemented as well as effectively using\r\ndigital comic strips to improve learning in writing skills."^^ . "2024" . . .
