"Reading comprehension is the ability to understand a text, to analyze the\r\ninformation, and to interpret correctly what the writer is stating. Students are less\r\nable to understand texts in English well. Therefore, this research aims to know the\r\nsignificant influence of Structural and Content Gamification strategy on students’\r\nreading comprehension, and to know the difference of the results gained between\r\nexperimental and control class on reading comprehension using Gamification\r\nstrategies. Moreover, in this research the researcher used a Gamification strategy as\r\nstrategies that can help students to solve their problems in reading and to practice\r\ntheir reading comprehension, especially in scanning, skimming, and summarizing\r\nskills. This research used a quantitative approach and quasi-experimental method.\r\nThey were divided into experimental and control class, then they were given pre-\r\ntest and post-test. The test was in the form of essay to evaluate their ability to answer\r\n5W+1H, the main ideas, and make a summary. Structural Gamification strategy was\r\nused for the treatment in the experimental class while the control class used Content\r\nGamification strategy. The findings showed that there was a significance influence\r\nof using Structural and Content Gamification strategies, and also there was a\r\ndifference in results gained by the students of the experimental and the control\r\nclasses on reading comprehension using Gamification strategy. Therefore, the use\r\nof Structural and Content Gamification strategies can be concluded to have an effect\r\non students’ reading comprehension but Structural Gamification did a better\r\nincrease by seeing the result of the t-test (2.397) which is higher that t-table\r\n(2.00172) or 2.397>2.00172.\r\nKeywords: Gamification Strategy, Reading Comprehension"^^ .
