Pakuan No.1 Ciheuleut, Bogor Email: [email protected] Abstract The increasing number of two-wheeled vehicles in Indonesia is accompanied by a high risk of motor vehicle theft, necessitating a more effective and modern security system. This research aims to design and implement a two-wheeled vehicle security system based on fingerprint patterns and facial identification. The system uses an Arduino Mega 2560 as the main microcontroller, a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication, and an ESP32 Wrover Cam for facial recognition. The research method used is hardware programming, which includes the planning, design, implementation, and testing stages of the system. Test results show that the fingerprint sensor is able to recognize registered fingerprints with an average accuracy of 81.6% under normal conditions, but its accuracy decreases in wet conditions. The facial recognition system is able to detect registered faces at a distance of 30–90 cm and when wearing hats and half-face helmets, but cannot detect faces wearing masks and glasses. A relay successfully activates the vehicle's electrical system when the fingerprint and face are validated. Thus, this system can improve the security of two-wheeled vehicles, although further development is still needed to improve the system's accuracy and reliability.
