Conventional door locks are considered to have limitations in terms of security and practicality. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart door lock prototype utilizing QR Code and fingerprint authentication, along with Telegram Bot as a remote monitoring medium. The research method applied is hardware programming, using Arduino UNO R3 as the system controller and ESP32 Wrover CAM as the QR Code scanner. The fingerprint sensor functions as a master key, while a relay and solenoid door lock act as the locking mechanism. The system is also equipped with a DHT11 sensor for room temperature monitoring and notification delivery via Telegram. The experimental results show that the system operates according to the design specifications. The QR Code can be optimally scanned at a distance of 8–24 cm, the fingerprint sensor performs effectively under normal finger conditions, and the average system response time from authentication to door unlocking is 4.85 seconds. Thus, the proposed smart door lock prototype provides an effective, efficient, and low-cost solution for improving room security. Keywords: Smart Door Lock, Internet of Things, QR Code, Fingerprint, Telegram Bot.
