The government holds the responsibility to ensure the welfare of the poor through well-directed and integrated policies. This study discusses the implementation of Depok Mayor Regulation Number 31 of 2022 concerning Parameters for Determining Poor Residents as an instrument for poverty alleviation in Depok City. The regulation aims to create an accurate and integrated data system on poor residents to support more targeted policymaking. The study reveals that although the parameters established are fairly comprehensive, the implementation still faces challenges such as data integration and validation, inter-agency coordination, and accuracy in aid distribution. Moreover, community participation, regular evaluation, and transparency are essential aspects in ensuring policy effectiveness. Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) shows a declining trend in poverty rates in Depok City, yet continuous efforts are needed to ensure the program runs optimally. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable input for policymakers in formulating more effective, adaptive, and sustainable poverty alleviation strategies.
