	bibo:abstract "Pronunciation is an essential part in a language, for the nature of language is\r\nspoken. Pronunciation is an important aspect of language skills, especially in\r\noral communication, because it influences the clarity of the message conveyed.\r\nThe purpose of this research is to analyze Tertiary English-majored students’\r\nperspectives toward the role of pronunciation in English communication. The\r\nparticipants of this research are students in second semester of English\r\neducation study program at Pakuan university. This study used qualitative\r\nmethod with a descriptive design, that are two instruments used in the study,\r\nthey are questionnaire and interview were given to students in the second\r\nsemester of English education study program. The result of this study, in the\r\ncognitive aspect, it shows that (95.4%) students agreed that pronunciation\r\nfacilitates understanding during communication and helps avoid repetition,\r\nalthough some challenges remain in integrating pronunciation with grammar.\r\nin the affective aspect (98.5%), students felt that good pronunciation makes\r\nlearning easier, enhances listening and speaking engagement, and contributes\r\nto active classroom participation. In addition, in the psychomotor aspect (95%),\r\nStudents expressed that pronunciation strengthens communication skills, builds\r\nconfidence in interacting with foreigners. Overall, this study confirms that\r\npronunciation plays a crucial role in shaping tertiary students’ communicative\r\ncompetence, indicating the need for greater emphasis on pronunciation in\r\nEnglish communication.\r\nKeywords: Pronunciation, Perspective, Communication."^^xsd:string;
