      "abstract": "Vocabulary is an important component in learning English.\r\nVocabulary will help students master the four language skills. However,\r\nmany students are bored to learn English because they lack vocabulary and\r\nthe teaching media is not interesting. Therefore, the media must be\r\nattractive, effective and help the students to enrich their vocabulary. One\r\nway to achieve it is by using Cue Cards. The aims of this research are to\r\nknow whether Cue Cards as media have an effect on students’ vocabulary\r\nenrichment and intend to investigate different result gained by the\r\nexperimental and control group. This research is used a quantitative\r\nmethod with a Quasi-Experimental method with Two-Groups Pre-Test and\r\nPost-Test Design. There are two groups as experiment group and control\r\ngroup. This research was conducted in SMP IT Al-Muttaqien, Kabupaten\r\nBogor. The population is the first-grade and the sample is A class as the\r\nexperimental group and C class as the control group which have 30\r\nstudents in every class. Some statistical calculations are done to analyze\r\nthe data, and the t-test formula is applied to get the final result. The post\r\nscore of both groups show that experimental score was higher than the\r\ncontrol score and the t-test result of this research also show that H0 was\r\ndeclined and Ha was accepted with the sig value was 0.001 which means\r\nthat less than 0.05. It means there is an effect on students’ vocabulary\r\nenrichment using cue cards as media in the common adjective and the\r\nresult is statistically significant different. Based on the explanation above,\r\nit is concluded that using cue cards as media is effective and it has a\r\nsignificant result.\r\nKeywords: Cue Card, Media, Vocabulary Enrichment",
