Vocabulary will help students master the four language skills. However,&#13;
many students are bored to learn English because they lack vocabulary and&#13;
the teaching media is not interesting. Therefore, the media must be&#13;
attractive, effective and help the students to enrich their vocabulary. One&#13;
way to achieve it is by using Cue Cards. The aims of this research are to&#13;
know whether Cue Cards as media have an effect on students’ vocabulary&#13;
enrichment and intend to investigate different result gained by the&#13;
experimental and control group. This research is used a quantitative&#13;
method with a Quasi-Experimental method with Two-Groups Pre-Test and&#13;
Post-Test Design. There are two groups as experiment group and control&#13;
group. This research was conducted in SMP IT Al-Muttaqien, Kabupaten&#13;
Bogor. The population is the first-grade and the sample is A class as the&#13;
experimental group and C class as the control group which have 30&#13;
students in every class. Some statistical calculations are done to analyze&#13;
the data, and the t-test formula is applied to get the final result. The post&#13;
score of both groups show that experimental score was higher than the&#13;
control score and the t-test result of this research also show that H0 was&#13;
declined and Ha was accepted with the sig value was 0.001 which means&#13;
that less than 0.05. It means there is an effect on students’ vocabulary&#13;
enrichment using cue cards as media in the common adjective and the&#13;
result is statistically significant different. Based on the explanation above,&#13;
it is concluded that using cue cards as media is effective and it has a&#13;
significant result.&#13;
