This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the Cake application on students' listening comprehension. A quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design was conducted at SMPN 6 Bogor. The study involved 70 eighth-grade students, divided into two groups: the experimental group used Cake application, while the control group used YouTube. The pre-tests and post-tests used to collect the data consisted of 30 multiple-choice listening comprehension questions. These results suggest that structured, interactive mobile applications like Cake can provide more effective support for students' listening comprehension than unstructured platforms like YouTube. This study concludes that digital applications in interactive and structured language teaching such as Cake can give a significant impact on students’ listening comprehension.
