Strategy in enhancing tenth-grade students' reading comprehension of narrative texts.&#13;
Employing a quasi-experimental design, the research involved two groups of students from&#13;
SMA Harapan Bangsa. The experimental group received instruction using the Annotation&#13;
Strategy, while the control group was taught with the Story Pyramid Strategy. Data were&#13;
collected via pre-tests and post-tests. The results indicated that students in the Annotation&#13;
Strategy group achieved significantly higher scores on the post-test compared to those in the&#13;
Story Pyramid Strategy group. This suggests that the annotation strategy is more effective for&#13;
improving students' reading comprehension of narrative texts.&#13;
