      "abstract": "This qualitative study investigates students' perceptions of using English songs to\r\nenhance vocabulary learning. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis,\r\ndata were collected through questionnaires and interviews with selected participants.\r\nThe study aimed to investigate how students perceive the effectiveness and benefits\r\nof integrating English songs into their vocabulary learning process. Perception itself\r\nis a person's opinion or interpretation of the activities or events. People perceive\r\nthings differently from one another because the feeling, thinking ability, and\r\nexperience of human is different. Through questionnaires and interviews, participants'\r\nexperiences with integrating songs into their English language studies were explored.\r\nFindings indicate that students view English songs as an effective learning tool,\r\nappreciating their rhythmic and melodic elements that engage and aid in vocabulary\r\nretention. They report positive benefits, including improved recall and a more\r\nenjoyable learning experience due to the emotional resonance of music. This research\r\nhighlights the potential of integrating songs into educational practices to foster\r\neffective vocabulary acquisition and enhance students' overall learning experiences.\r\nAfter analyzing the data, it was found that students generally perceive using English\r\nsongs as beneficial for their learning style. They reported that learning English\r\nvocabulary through songs not only enhances their vocabulary but also contributes to a\r\npositive learning experience. Additionally, students expressed that the tone and\r\nrhythm of songs create a joyful and relaxed atmosphere during their learning sessions.\r\nKeywords: English song, students’ perception, Vocabulary",
