      "abstract": "Writing is one of the important skills in English, in writing there are various aspects\r\nthat need to be considered, one of which is vocabulary. The purpose of this study is\r\nto determine the effect of using Quizlet on students' writing skills, especially in\r\nRecount Text and whether there is a difference between the control group and the\r\nexperimental group in terms of the results obtained. This study used a quasiexperimental design with a quantitative approach. The population and samples of\r\nthis study were VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Gunung Putri. Researchers\r\nconducted this research in two classes. The experimental class used Quizlet media\r\non students' ability in writing recount text and the control class used Google\r\nClassroom media on students' ability in writing recount text. The research findings\r\nshowed that the results of the three hypotheses were accepted. The students' final\r\nscores in the post-test as well as the average scores obtained in both classes prove\r\nthat there is a difference in the effect of using Quizlet and Google Classroom on\r\nstudents' ability to write recount text. Finally, the use of Quizlet is more effective\r\non students' ability to write recount text.\r\nKeywords: Quizlet, Recount Text, Writing, Google Classroom",
