that need to be considered, one of which is vocabulary. The purpose of this study is&#13;
to determine the effect of using Quizlet on students' writing skills, especially in&#13;
Recount Text and whether there is a difference between the control group and the&#13;
experimental group in terms of the results obtained. This study used a quasiexperimental design with a quantitative approach. The population and samples of&#13;
this study were VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Gunung Putri. Researchers&#13;
conducted this research in two classes. The experimental class used Quizlet media&#13;
on students' ability in writing recount text and the control class used Google&#13;
Classroom media on students' ability in writing recount text. The research findings&#13;
showed that the results of the three hypotheses were accepted. The students' final&#13;
scores in the post-test as well as the average scores obtained in both classes prove&#13;
that there is a difference in the effect of using Quizlet and Google Classroom on&#13;
students' ability to write recount text. Finally, the use of Quizlet is more effective&#13;
on students' ability to write recount text.&#13;
