Article history: received ....; revised ....; accepted ...; published .... ABSTRACT Electrocoagulation-based batik WWTP has been designed to assist batik artisans in reducing water pollution. This study aims to determine the optimal dilution factor to obtain the effectiveness of parameter level elimination, namely total ammonia, phenol and sulfide, as well as the effectiveness of parameter elimination that affects other wastewater quality, including COD, DO, TSS, DHL, pH, and color (Pt-Co scale). The processing process is carried out using an electrocoagulation reactor measuring 5900 mL equipped with 4 aluminum electrodes spaced 4 cm apart. The electrode is conducted with a direct electric current of 2-8 A at a voltage of 24 volts. The test results are compared with the standard standard of PERMENLH/BPLH No. 12 of 2025. The results of the study showed that at 2x EC II dilution, it was the most optimal condition. Under this condition, the total ammonia allowance reached 83.23%, phenol 67.94%, sulfide 100%, COD 89.90%, BOD 87.92%, TSS 81.76%, DHL 77.45%, color scale (Pt-Co) 93.91%, and DO increased by 38.18%.
