This clothing need is a primary need in everyday life which is very influential in the development of various clothes. The research method applied in this archipelago batik introduction information media using the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) stage develops a more interesting and efficient information media using Augmented Reality by utilizing the Android/iOS Smartphone camera feature. where this method has 6 stages, namely concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution.Android-based archipelago batik introduction information media application has been completed. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the features in the information media application for the introduction of archipelago batik can function properly. The application of marker images uses vuforia tools which will be synchronized in unity. Vuforia tools itself has the concept of assessing the quality of marker image recognition, this can help researchers to determine the right marker image. The process of making a 3D batik model that will be applied to this information media. In the process of making this 3D batik model using Blender software and will be applied to Unity in the form of .fbx format.
