To\r\naddress this deficiency, lanthanide ions typically chelate with ligands that have extensive, intense absorption\r\nbands, including pyrazoline, which can form highly stable terbium ion complexes. Other metal ions can disrupt\r\nthe fluorescence properties of such complex compounds. This research was conducted to synthesize complex\r\ncompounds of Tb3+ metal ions with pyrazoline-derived ligands. The resulting complex compounds will be used\r\nas fluorosensors for Pb2+ and Cr3+ heavy metal ions. The results showed that the synthesis of Tb3+ metal ion\r\ncomplex compounds with pyrazolin-derived ligands obtained a brownish-yellow yield of 60.67% pyrazolinderived ligands, with a melting point of 210oC and pale yellow Tb3+ complex compound solids obtained a yield\r\nof 46.05% with a melting point of 225oC. The results of FTIR obtained N-H bonds or amines (3412.56 cm-1\r\n),\r\nC-H in the pyridine aromatic ring (3128.58 cm-1\r\n), C=N in the pyrazolin group (2384.2 cm-1\r\n), and Tb-N\r\n(1635.40 cm-1\r\n). The results of scanning 3 Tb3+ metal ion complex compounds with pyrazolin-derived ligands\r\nusing a UV-Vis spectrophotometer obtained three absorption peaks at 223 nm, 370 nm, and 454 nm with molar\r\nlog ɛ absorption values of 4.78, 4.36, and 4.25, respectively. The maximum peak uptake of Tb3+ complex\r\ncompounds with pyrazoline-derived ligands was at 480 nm with a fluorescence intensity of 2231 a.u., which\r\nindicates that the complex compounds have a high fluorescence intensity. The fluorescence study of complex\r\ncompounds in the addition of Pb2+ and Cr3+ metal ions shows that the fluorosensor type of Tb3+ metal ion\r\ncomplex compound can be used as a turn-on type Pb2+ heavy metal ion fluorosensor and a turn-off type Cr3+\r\n\r\nheavy metal ion fluorosensor.\r\nKeywords: Fluorosensor, Pyrazine derivatives, Heavy metals, Tb3+ complex."^^ .
