Abstract

Teacher job satisfiction is an important element related to the achievernent of educational goals in Indonesia. Namely to produce good quality human resources, both in terms of science, knowledge, skills, and personality. Preliminary survey results indicate that the state of job satisfiction of teachers in private junior high schools in Bogor Regency is still not as expected. Therefore, the teacher’s job satisfication is interesting to be studied the aim of the research is to find ways to increase teacher job satisfiction through the development of models that can the used to strengthen empowerment, teamwork and personality. The research method uses part analysis to determine the strength of infulence of exogenous variables, namely empowerment, personality, and teamwork.on endogenous variables namely job satisfiction. The sitorem method is used to optimize the improvement of indicators in an effort to strengthen the studied variables. The part analysis results show that empowerment, personality, and teamwork have direct and indirect positive effects on teacher job satisfaction. While the results of the indictors that are still weak so that they need to be improved and 5 indicators that are already good so that it remains to be maintained. That indicator that need to be improved are the order of priority handing as follos ; 1) self-determnation, 2) performent standards, 3) delegation of authority, 4) a sense of impact, 5) appreciation. 6) tolerance for failure, 7) aclear role, 9) cooperation, 10) ancouragement, 11) positive expectations, 12) pleasent nature, 13) emotional stability, 14) extraversion, 15) listening to conscience, 16) security, 17 ) payroll, 18) promotion, 19) leadership appresiation, and 20) working condition. Whileindicators that already good and reamin to be maintained are 1) efforts to understand, 2) group spirit 3)mopenness, 4) achievement, and 5) coworker. From the results of the path analysis for the variables studied and analysis of indicators using the sitorem method an aptimization model is abtained to increase job satisfaction.
