Abstract
In general, the aim of this study is to analyze the commitment of the teaching profession through the strength identification of the direct and indirect effect between transformational leadership, empowerment, work motivation, and trust towards the professional commitment of Private Vocational High Schools’ Teachers in Bogor Regency. This study uses path analysis which is a research uses quantitative method to analyze the strength of the direct effect of exogenous variables on endogenous variables and the indirect effect of exogenous variables on endogenous variables through intervening variables. Data collection in quantitative research was conducted by distributing questionnaires which was then analyzed by using linear regression analysis and significance as well as the Sobel Test which was supported by statistical description. The population of this study were 226 certified permanent teachers spread across seven Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Bogor Regency whose schools implement a quality management system and have an ISO 9001:2015 quality management certificate. The samples which consisted of 142 respondents was determined by using the Chochran formula. This research concludes: 1) Research Hypothesis (H1) is accepted. As a result, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant effect exogenous variables, either directly or indirectly through intervening variables on endogenous variables (teaching profession commitment); 2) The strategy done by improving work motivation variables, trust, empowerment, and transformational leadership variables through strengthening improvement priority indicators as many as 12 indicators through educational webinar activities for all research sample teachers and teachers in general who joined in webinar activities.
