Abstract
in Overcoming Poverty during the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. In this research. Several programs created by the Bogor City Social Service to alleviate poverty in the pandemic period, one of which is discussed in depth, namely the Direct Cash Assistance Program. In this research, the method used to analyze is descriptive qualitative method, in which the data obtained by interview, documentation, and participatory observation, the data presented in this study is the sorted data which it the data that is needed to analyze and answer the problem, the results of this study that the Role of the Bogor City Social Service only has two compatibility with the concept of the role of Dozier and Broom in the Macaron which decomposes four concepts, but even though it has only two matches the Role of the Social Service in the Social Assistance Distribution Program as a Countermeasure Effort COVID 19 Affected poverty can be said very well.
