Abstract

The paper entitled “Students’ Perception of Learning Listening Through English Videos in Faktabahasa Bogor Community” was purposed to describe students’ perception of learning listening through English videos. The research employed descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at Faktabahasa Bogor Community. It involved the class of English Conversation Lanjutan in Faktabahasa Bogor Community. This research was guided by using a research question which is “What are students’ perception of their learning listening through English Videos”. Moreover, the instruments used in this study were observation, questionnaire and interview. The finding of this research described the students’ perception of their learning listening through English videos as audio-visual media, students’ awareness of the effectiveness of learning listening through video besides audioonly. The result showed that most of the students have similar perception of the positive sides of their learning listening through English videos. It was proven by their understanding, enjoyment, motivation.Furthermore, students shared thatEnglish videos is one of the media which is useful for students in learning listening.
