Abstract

The purpose of this study is tofind out and analyze the direct and indirect influence of organizational culture and transformational leadership on employee performance through job satisfaction of employees of the Pamong Praja Police Unit (Satpol PP) in Bogor Regency. The population in this study is employees of Satpol PP Bogor district. The number of samples in this study is 232 samples. Data analysis uses Path Analysis. The results of the study show that (1) There is a direct positive influence of organizational culture on employee performance so that the strengthening of organizational culture is predicted to improve employee performance. (2) There is a direct positive influence of transformational leadership has a positive effect on employee performance, so that the strengthening of transformational leadership is predicted to improve employee performance. (3) There is a direct positive influence of job satisfaction on employee performance, so that the strengthening of job satisfaction is predicted to improve employee performance. (4) There is a direct positive influence of organizational culture on job satisfaction so that strengthening organizational culture is predicted to increase job satisfaction. (5) There is a direct positive influence of transformational leadership on job satisfaction, so that leadership strengthening is predicted to increase job satisfaction. (6) There is a positive indirect influence of organizational culture on the performance of Bogor Regency Satpol PP employees. The direct influence of organizational culture on performance is greater than the indirect influence through job satisfaction, meaning that job satisfaction is not effective as an intervening variable. (7) There is an indirect influence of transformational leadership on the performance of Bogor Regency Satpol PP employees. Thedirect influence of transformational leadership on performance is greater than its indirect influence through job satisfaction, meaning that job satisfaction is not effective as an intervening variable. So that the suggestions that can be conveyed from this conclusion are the implementation of strengthening organizational culture, strengthening transformational leadership and strengthening employee job satisfaction which is expected to improve overall employee performance.
