Abstract
English language is important for students of Tours and Travels Business Study Program. There are many activities can be applied in the classroom by the teacher in enhancing students‟ speaking skill. There are many theories about classroom activities in teaching speaking . The theory from Harmer is used in education. The title of this research is “Classroom Activities in the Teaching Speaking to Tours and Travels Business Program”. This research is intended to find out the classroom activity applied in teaching speaking to Tours and Travels Business Program. This research is conducted to second grade teacher of Tours and Travels Business Program in SMKN 1 Pacet. Descriptive method is used to conduct the research. The writer uses purposive sampling by taking English teacher in XI UPW 3. The data are taken from teacher‟s lesson plan, classroom observation and interview. Based on the result of this study, the writer finds two kinds of classroom activities applied in the teaching speaking to Tours and Travels Business Program. They are simulation and prepared talk.
