Abstract

The paper entitled “Teacher’s strategies to teach vocabulary to student with Speech Disorder” is purposed to describe the strategies are applied by the teacher. The research is conducted in SLB-B Dharma Wanita Bogor. The teacher who teaches at the school is chosen as the participant of the research. Qualitative approach and descriptive method are applied in conducting the research and the instruments of data collection of the research are documentation, classroom observation, and interview. The lesson plan of classroom activity was also collected as the document of the research. classroom observation was conducted in three meetings to find out the strategies applied by the teacher to teach vocabulary to students with speech disorder. The interview was done to decide information about the strategies applied. The clearer communication, media visual and repetation are used as the strategies to teach vocabulary to students speech disorder.
